Jennifer Lopez attended the 2023 Met Gala in not one, but two stunning Ralph Lauren gowns.
The multi-hyphenate changed into a sultry silk and velvet halter-neck gown (complete with a dramatic train and a fish net fascinator) after ascending the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
She documented the clothing change on Instagram. At first look, she appeared to be wearing a feminine take of a tuxedo, consisting of a black velvet blazer, a pristine white collared button-up, and a long black column skirt.
After mounting the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the multi-hyphenate changed into a smouldering silk and velvet halter-neck gown (complete with a dramatic train and a fish net fascinator).
She shared her wardrobe shift on Instagram. At first glance, she appeared to be dressed in a feminine tuxedo comprised of a black velvet blazer, a spotless white collared button-up, and a long black column skirt.
Other photographs, on the other hand, displayed a whole other depth of the outfit.
Lopez’s button-up top was actually a translucent white shirt with ruffled tiered cape sleeves that plummeted into a deep side-bob cutout at the edge of her chest after she removed the blazer jacket.
She completed her appearance with gleaming black opera gloves, diamond drop earrings, and a black velvet Roger Vivier purse.
