Miley Cyrus continued to promote her album Endless Summer Vacation on Instagram on Saturday, posting a photo of herself in nothing but a pair of jeans while laid out on the bed. Her numerous tattoos were prominent, and her wavy hair poured over her face in highlighted waves.
“You’re lonely now & I hate it,” she captioned the photo. The line is from the chorus of her new track “Jaded,” the follow-up to her big hit “Flowers.”
“Flowers” is thought to be about Miley’s ex-husband, actor Liam Hemsworth, and “Jaded” follows with more of the story.
According to People, the pop sensation is using her songs to recreate her relationship timeline with Liam from her point of view, and things have improved for her after their divorce.
“She’s in the best health and happiness she’s been in a long time.” Everyone blamed her for the divorce and referred to her as a wild child, but it wasn’t fair. “Their relationship and marriage were toxic, and she was heartbroken,” said the source.
“She’s not trying to bash Liam, but she feels like she has every right to own the narrative after everyone was picking her apart after the breakup.”
The former couple met in 2009 and had an on-again, off-again relationship for several years.
They married in 2018, then divorced in 2020. Liam is now dating Gabriella Brooks, an Australian model. Since 2021, Miley has been romantically related to percussionist Maxx Morando.
Miley also released many photos of herself in a metallic gold high-cut one-piece, which hint at the visuals for the impending “Jaded” music video.She also thanked her fans for streaming “Flowers” so much by posting a video of herself in the garden wearing the same outfit.
